APPOINTMENT TIMES

The surgery is working very hard to ensure that you are seen by a health practitioner in a timely fashion. We have a team in place every day to deal with any health issues or concerns you have on the same day if that is what you want or need.(Please note this may not be with the clinician of your choice). If your problem is ongoing or you prefer to see a specific healthcare professional, every endeavour will be made to provide an appointment in a timely manner with the clinician of your choice. This may be either face-to-face or over the telephone, whichever is the most appropriate for you. To facilitate this, you may be asked a few questions at the time of booking appointments. This will help us to get it right for you.

TELEPHONE AND INTERNET

Lines are covered each working day from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm. Outside of these times, the telephones are covered for emergency matters by the local out-of-hours GP service. Please see the Contact Details page for more information.

You can also book appointments on the internet using the following address: https://access.e-mis.co.uk (you will need to contact the surgery first to be given a unique PIN number in order to access this site). There are a number of appointments available with GPs and nurses in the evenings and on Saturday mornings.

If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist in reducing waiting times and ensure valuable appointments are not wasted.

EMERGENCIES

If you are confronted by a serious problem such as severe chest pain or severe bleeding call an ambulance tel: 999 before calling the surgery

HOME VISITS

Home visits will be made, if required, to housebound patients and those who are terminally ill. The vast majority of patients, including children, will be expected to attend the surgery unless they are too ill to leave the house. If a home visit is required please contact us and one of the healthcare team will telephone you back initially to assess the urgency of your need.

TELEPHONING US

It is always best to avoid mornings when telephoning to book routine appointments. If you are ringing regarding any results, please ring after 2.00 pm when the surgery is less busy.

OUT OF HOURS

For details of the Out-Of-Hours service, please visit the Contact Details page
