A small number of conditions make up large number of requests for urgent appointments or advice.

Many of these illnesses are self-limiting and respond to simple treatment. We've listed the surgery's

"top 10" below with links to high quality, sensible, UK based advice.

We are, of course still happy to see you or offer a telephone consultation if necessary, but we are

confident you will find the information useful and may save you the need to arrange an

appointment.

There is plenty of health information online as well as in books and on television and a search on

google can be an anxious experience. Knowing which sources are high quality and reliable is
