Health Advice
There is plenty of health information online as well as in books and on television and a search on
google can be an anxious experience. Knowing which sources are high quality and reliable is
something we can help with. We strongly recommend patient.co.uk - it is UK based and written and
edited by independent health professionals. It offers comprehensive, common sense advice.

We have developed a page for common conditions that offers detailed information about some of
the most common illnesses and problems that cause patients to consult us. Many of these can be
managed quite safely at home, without the hassle of needing to arrange an appointment at the
surgery and the information provided helps you do that.

The sites and resources listed throughout this website are our personal suggestions. We accept no
responsibility for the content of external sites, but at the same time we have recommended them
because we thought these sites would be useful to you or your family.

Our own website has information pages on travel health; mental health; sexual health; alcohol,
smoking and drugs; weight loss and healthly living/ preventive medicine.
