About the Surgery

Health Central Surgery is a clinic designed and funded to provide general practice care for people who have no address or are only temporarily housed.

Health Central Surgery is a bespoke Surgery who provides health advice and support to people experiencing homelessness or insecure housing within the boundaries of Littlehampton, Storrington, Henfield and Portslade.

We are able to offer a range of medical and nursing services to people experiencing homelessness or insecure housing who are not registered with a local GP. These range from general health advice to support for drug and alcohol problems.

We offer a range of appointments with both a doctor and/or nurse practitioner at the surgery.

To book an appointment please call 01903 821 647. If there is no answer please leave your telephone number and a member of staff will call you back as soon as possible.

If you have a health issue between the hours of 16.30pm-18.30pm that cannot wait until the next morning, please call 01903 234 844.

If you have a health issue between the hours of 18.30pm – 8am weekdays and over the weekend/bank holidays please call 111

If you need urgent medical treatment please call 999 or go straight to the nearest A&E department.

 

To Register with Health Central Surgery

If you would like to register with Health Central Surgery which is located at 12-14 Liverpool Gardens, Worthing, BN11 1RY, our Practice Coordinator will help you complete one of our registration forms (which can be found on the link to the right). Please bear in mind that if you decide to register with us you must not be registered with another doctor. When you have registered, you will be booked in for a new patient check with the Nurse Practitioner.
