Worthing Integrated Care Centre (WICC)- Healthcare for the Future

Worthing Medical Group and Worthing Borough Council are working collaboratively with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust (SPFT) and Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT) to develop a new facility which will provide a state-of-the-art Integrated Care Centre.

The centre will provide GP, mental health, community and dentistry services, as well as further services for families and children, a homeless population service and a pharmacy. It will also include a multi-storey car park.

Located on the site of the current car park at the back of Worthing Town Hall, the new one-stop shop facility is currently expected to be completed by Mid-February 2025.

The overarching benefit is a main site that meets future needs, putting the needs of the community at the heart of the Practice’s development plans, through services, access, and supportive community work.

This is the culmination of a long-term aspiration to make the most of this under-utilised brownfield site in a highly accessible location in the middle of Worthing and to complete the Civic Quarter, as well as to deliver long overdue improvements to health care provision in Worthing.
